Kenmore Elite Dishwasher - Kenmore Elte Dishwashe

5 phone calls today to Sears. Two - when I was transferred to the Customer Solutions Department - ended when they said they were checking on something and when they left the line I was disconnected.

The Kenmore Elite dishwasher I purchased in April from the San Clemente Sears, started shedding the control buttons off the panel last March. That is before it was a year old. Unfortunately I have been busy with true life and death matters since then. But today, when the fifth button dropped off and it was another one I rarely if ever use (Turbo Zone), I realized this is a defect - plain and simple. I looked closely at the panel and there are fine cracks running through the plastic. BTW this is model 66513122K703. I think good things about the machine otherwise, but if this is considered ok by Sears, it is the last Sears product I purchase. Since I am going to be in the market for a new refrigerator after Christmas, I want to be sure to know if they stand by their products.
