The Bay Never Ending Mattress Sale Scam

I went into the Bay Ottawa on Rideau St. During the holidays. I happened to go threw the bedding department and noticed that mattresses were 60% off. I didn't need a new mattress just yet and was planning to buy it later in the year. The sale man assured me it was a boxing week sale, and spoke as if these deals don't last and supplies are running out. I quickly paid for the mattress on credit because the sales man told me they might run out fast because the prices where so low.

I went home and bragged to all my friends at the great deal I got. I went back a month and a half later to get bed sheets and I noticed that the mattresses where still 60% off. Asked the sales guy if they are always 60% off and he said yes sometimes they go to U off. I felt ripped off and stupid for bragging about the great deal I got.

I rushed to buy a mattress I didn't need because I was deceived into thinking I was buying a $4000 mattress for $1200. But really its just a $1200 mattress. And you can't price match mattresses because the mattress companies slap a different model name on the same mattresses and say that each mattress is custom for each specific store.

Regular price means the usual price. How can it be the "Regular Price" if its never actually that price.

After I expressed my feelings to the sales person and said I want to return the mattress I was told I will have to pay the delivery of $70 to return the mattress.
