On Saturday April 10th I had been spending my day trying to find the best deal for a pool table. I had beed to a few of the leading billiards companies in town and was pleased to find that they were all willing to help me achieve wht I was in search for, but the Only factor was time. They all required 4 weeks or more to get the table in and delivered.

So I continued my search to find the company who was willing to take the extra step to get one delivered a bit sooner. That is when I ran across PowerHouse Billiards in Gilbert, AZ I asked one of the sales reps Mike Gunn How long from purchase it took to deliver a table to my house he assured me 2-3 weeks from purchase. He seemed very personable and helpful to my needs. I returned on April 21st with cash in had for my purchase. Once again I confermed the 2-3 weeks time frame.

I was assured by Mike Gunn along with a Kevin Allen which I found out today is the owner. I asked about the delivery charges adding an additional $199.00 to the cost. Total cost paid in cash was $1292.00 on 4/21/04 As I left the store they assured me that they would contact me to set up the delivery date and time. It was now week 3 and nothing.

I called PowerHouse and spoke to a different sales associate who informed me I must have misunderstood the terms of the sale. He stated that it is usually about 6 weeks before a tabel can be ordered and delivered. I was very upset but I had already paid cash and felt good about my purchse, so I reluctantly decided to wait it out another THREE more weeks! Once again asuring me the table would be in soon and they would keep in touch with the delivery date.

Week six and still no call to let me know when it was being delivered and so once again I call PowerHouse and Once again Im told that I will have to continue to wait because the concrete slab was ordered in the wrong size which would cause another delay, but he was willng to schedule me for Monday the 14th of June. I had taken a vacation day from work to make sure someone was home for the delivery. I called mid-morning to verify that they were on thier was when I was told that I wasnt possible for that day they were just too busy. Very distressed by this point I asked for my money back that day.

He refused Mike stated that they only have access to that kind of money on fridays. Once again assuring me that I could either come get the check on friday the 18th or wait untill saturday morning the 19th and they would have the table delivered. Feeling sick about the entire situation I thought "I have already waited this long" and all I want is the table I had paid cash for almost 2 MONTHS prior. So I agreed to one last attempt for delivery for Saturday morning the 19th. Once again I plan my time arround PowerHouse Billiards. Saturday 10am I call Mike Gunn and he reasured me that they would be at my house no later than noon. 1:30pm came up and they are no where to been seen.

Call PowerHouse again and a different sales associate answers and stated that he would look into it right away and call right back. 3:15pm and nothing. So I call again and now Mike Gunn answers again and said he never even got the message that I called. He said that he hasnt been able to reach his delivery guys all day long. Apparently not feeling to feel the need to call me and let me know before 3pm. He said that if he wasn't able to reach them he would close up te store and deliver the table himself to ensure the job got done.

Guarenteed me today no matter what it took. Knowing by now I wasn't going to get a call back I called him again at 4pm to get the update. He stated that he didn't have good news. He stated that it was just not going to get done. I asked for my money back and with as much as he hesitated over the phone I rushed over to the store while they were still open to retrieve my money. When I arrived he stated that there ws nothing that could be done due to the owner Kevin Allen being out of town in Colorado.

He made several calls and another to the general manager Brian who stated that they would do thier best to get into the wherehouse to retrieve the pool Table I purchased. While in the store trying to come to some resolution another irrate customer Tee Smith came into the store with the same story, almost word for word. He is still waiting on a table he purchased on April 16th and was given the same run arround.

He said they never called him and never followed through on the delivery dates. He too never once recieved a call back from PowerHouse so that's when he too decided to go down to the store seeking some answers. We both felt we were being given a story of fairytales to get us to leave the store saying we would both receive our tables with in a timely manner. They just don't seem to understand it's way past that a "timely manner would have consisted of a table being delivered to my house 4 weeks ago on the promised time frame. Now here I am without a table and without money to purchase one somewhere else. What else is one to do? Angie Y.
