I was contacted my Mrs. Debbie Steve, in my hotmail account about an employee opportunity and asked to create a yahoo account and add her to my contact group. After our interview she said I was hired and I would receive a check and deposit it immediately. The check arrived in a couple of days and I deposited it. She immediately started harassing me trying to get me to spend the money in the check. I told her I wouldn't spend a dime until it had cleared. She contacted me this morning threatening to take legal action if I didn't do as I was told and spend the money on software and other items to support a small office, I informed her the check still had not cleared. I checked my checking account tonight and found the check was turned down on the reason of fraud. I contacted her in Yahoo instant messaging and gave her a piece of my mind. I hope nobody else gets caught up in this rip off artists web, it only cost me $4, in turn around fees but it could have cost much more if I would've spent the money before the check cleared.
