Transaction merchant services / certified merchant services rip-off scam

The sales agent for this credit card processing service solicited our business. "just try us out, we'll save you money, you have nothing to loose."

Signed a form with the agreed discount percentages and fees.

Service was no good and decided to cancel.

Turns out some never seen fine print nowere close (not on same page) to signature location says this was a 36 month agreement with a $400.00 charge for early termination.

Hard to beleive any business in this rapidly changing times would lock themselves to a 36 month agreement.

Nothing was ever mentioned in regards to length of agreement.

Worked with other companies and this has never been an issue. It's like long distance service.

They go by several different names (similar to other well known companies) and it's hard to find their phone numbers.

In hindsight it had "scam" written all over it.
