After Hours Formal Wear
Has awful customer service and is disorganized. Rip-Off!

I have been dealing with After Hours Formal Wear for our upcoming Wedding in June. The company continues to make mistakes, and I am Very Worried about them getting things right for our Wedding Day although they seem nonchalant abut the whole matter.

Several months ago we booked our Bridal Party Tuxedos there due to several reasons: a Special they were running, location, and Nationwide Chain. Desmonds was the name of the company at the time & After Hours Formal took over shortly after we booked everything. We have a large Wedding Party (10 Tuxes), so they are making quite a bit of $ off of us.

The first problem that occurred was that the prices and styles changed when the buy out took place. We had to change the jackets for our Fathers, my fianceee's shoe style, and we were told the same prices (lower) would stay in effect. No Problem, we thought, this is just a simple problem to fix.

Next, several of our Groomsmen have waited over an hour to be fitted as there is not competent help at the store. We have witnessed this first hand when taking in info for out of town Bridal Party Members and waiting and waiting because nobody knew how to ring things up correctly.

Then they tried to fit our Ring Bearer, and for some reason, never told to us before, they don't carry his size of Tuxedo even though they did ask before about his age, etc. We had already paid for that Tuxedo, and they had to send us a refund & they even screwed up the amount on that which we have to go into the store to have fixed. They are bad about returning Phone Calls, and Don't see anything with any urgency!

Finally, they charged our Father's the wrong amount for their Tuxedos, and I called and they will not honor the word of the former Manager who had written the information down about the lower prices.

Mistakes are commom place in a service industry, but this company is not AT ALL about Customer Service. They do not try to work things out to make their customer happy even though this is a Wedding, and It is IMPORTANT to get things right. I think they figure at this point, all of our Bridal Party has paid, they have their measurements, and we are just STUCK with their AWFUL service. Unfortunately, at this time, so close to the Big Day, we are stuck with them.

Future Brides & Grooms DO NOT use this company!!! Even if the TUXEDOS & VESTS, ETC are all correct—I PRAY THEY ARE& this whole experience with them has been very Stressful!
