Disgusting Sales Tactics

I'll pass along the same complaint I just filed with the BBB this morning:

Signtronix's "national account executive" stopped by my place of business at 7:45 P.M. Oct. 19 in Southwest Kansas. He conned my employees into calling my wife at home on her cell phone under the guise that we were expecting him to meet us about an LED sign we had requested. He then asked my employee for the receiver and tried to make his sales pitch over my business landline, tying up the connection for over 6 minutes.

I'll preface this by saying that we had already refused their product through a previous salesman on 2 separate occasions, only 2 months ago.

Back to the complaint, when told that we can't afford the investment he offered, he continued to question and argue my decision. When he impliedthat I was lying about an offer I received by another sign company to contract into a similar sign, I asked why I would lie about that and he then hung up on me.

My employees relayed that he was rude, obnoxious and demanding that he speak with us. He asked my kitchen employee how far we lived from the restaurant, because he needed us to come down to visit with him.

After already being informed that we were not interested at this time, the company sent a salesman to lie to my employees so that he could callmy wife's cell phone from my own landline, halting my sales for over 6 minutes, proceeded to imply that I'm a liar and then hang up on me before being told to never call me again. It's disgusting that this company operates in such a dishonest and pathetic manner.

Resolution Sought: Address the behavior of this salesman, apologize to me directly for this experience and communicate that they don't support nor deploy these type of unprofessional sales tactics. After that, I would like the promise that I tried to relay to this salesman before he hung up on me: that they'll never try to contact myself, my wife or my employees for a product sale, ever again.
