Nelson and Karen Burkhardt, store owners Beware: They will sell you products that do not work and are not what you asked for and then not take responsiblity for their actions

I have shopped at Sunshine Resale Store since they opened. Passed out their business cards from Lorain to Fremont, Ohio. On February 28, I purchased $1,425.00 worth of merchandise. I had asked for a three burner bun coffee maker and a Cappacino machine. Nelson delivered an old large coffee maker with an extra coffe warming plate, not a three burner bun coffee maker. I told him I did not want it and to take it with him when he left. He left it and said he would come back later to get it. Never happened. This was not worth the $300.00 I had paid for the three burner bun. The Cappacino machine was worse yet. It did not even stand. My employees had to hammer the legs straight to make it stand on the counter. I was told that it worked. For $500.00 it should have worked. We cleaned the filth from the Cappacino machine, connected it to the water supply and sure enough could not get this beauty to work! Not a surprise. Nelson told me he would come back and get it to work. Of course, this never happened. I returned these items to the Sunshine Resale Store. I called the Better Business Office. Nelson said he would refund my money $800.00. Never happened!

Nelson and Karen Burkhardt do not tell the truth. They say you have to talk to Nelson or you have to talk to Karen. They sell you junk that does not work and tells you that they make Cappacino yesterday, when the inside of the machine is so filthy that it has not been used for years. When a customer is good to you, such as pass out your business cards from Lorain to Fremont. Treat that customer with respect not threats. Telling me to take you to court and that there was nothing I could do was not smart. I am warning consumers to be aware of how Nelson and Karen Burkhardt has treated me. I have bought many items and spent hundreds of dollars in their store. No More! A warning to the wise!
