4 final value fees for EBAY now WTF?

I was doing my monthly budget this evening when I looked at my EBAY seller fees. I couldn't believe what I saw. Not only do they double dip by charging you paypal fees but now they have stepped to a new low by charging "final value fees for shipping". What the heck does shipping my product have to do with EBAY collecting fees? I was also charged a. 40 cents per listing because I chose to extend my sale for 10 days instead of 7. I had no idea they were charging for that. It was never obvious.
