I signed up to be an affiliate of what I thought was a reputable company Alegria Shoe Shop.

I was promised a percentage of sales sent to Alegria Shoe Shop as a form of commission. After a week my website referred several sales curious to when and what they payout structure was I called them to see how often and at what threshold they make payments at. I called and the people on the phone pretended they did not have an affiliate program even though there is one and I have screenshots of it.

Then they tell me they will contact they owner and I never hear back. Later my entire affiliate account is deleted with all records of my sale and I am never paid or given an explanation.

The owner of Alegria and the owner Alegria Shoe Shop are friends and are both to blame.

One because Alegria Shoe company makes no distinction between the two and allows Alegria Shoe Shop to act like it is part of the same company. Alegria Shoes makes no restrictions on Alegria Shoe Shop and tricks both customers and affiliates into believing they are dealing with Alegria Shoes.
