ATTENTION potential buyers from COUNTY IMPORTS

I purchased a trike scooter from County Imports in 2010. I had done a ton of research on trikes.in my area they are very expensive; on the net they are very affordable. Unfortunately I did not even think to research the company along with the trike.

My trike arrived after an extra 2 1/2 months past the promised time. That was problem #1 = trying to get them to ship the darned thing to me. This year I had to purchase a part, which can only be through the same company as I needed the exact same color fender etc. It has been an absolute horror show.

My trike has been sitting in the repair shop for over two months. And I brought it to the repair shop after it sat in my driveway a full month while I tried desperately to get ahold of SOMEONE at County Imports. So it's been over three months that I have not been able to ride, and the trike is my only means of transportation. Problem #2: They NEVER answer the phone or call back.

County Import makes great statements on their web site. "They take great pride in customer satisfaction...", "order and it's between 12-24 hours that your part is shipped..." "No one in the business even comes close to our service...". This company should absolutely be put out of business. Everything they say is a lie. They don't ship fast, if ever. I have been waiting and my part has not arrived yet, though it is in stock!!! I paid for expidited shipping. It has not even shipped yet!!! I am at my wit's end. My mechanic doesn't want to have to charge me for storage, but it's been months that my trike has taken up space in his very busy repair shop.

People, if you have ears LISTEN: Run, fast and far. Do not do business of any kind with this company. Once they have your money you're sunk. They don't supply parts, they don't answer the phone, or emails. You will never be able to get in touch with them. They are criminals.

I very much want to bring a lawsuit against them. I am pursuing it right now. The Attorney General in my state is helping me just so I can get the part I need sent to me. So you can see that this is a very bad company if the AG is involved.

Regardless of how affordable and adorable their merchandise is, it is plastic and crap. Save or get a loan for a local purchase with a dependable dealer. Read all of the info you can on the company you're buying from.

I would like to know why either the local or federal government has not shut them down yet. Seriously, it is consumer fraud and false advertising all the way. I am not a litigious person; I usually hate people who sue for frivilous things. But I am dead serious about wanting to put this company out of business.
