Last Minute Movers were hired to finish packing me and to move me. This was the 3rd time they had moved me as they had been so good in the past. The day of the packing all went well. On the day of the move, the chaos began. The driver hit a tree and damaged the truck and they did not show up with the wardrobe boxes or tape. What moving company does not carry tape? The add in the phone book states that you receive 5 free boxes with every booked move. I had purchased boxes at Sam's and Offie Depot and even had left over boxes. However, I was charged for boxes. I was charged for 3 movers; but one stayed in the truck the majority of the time. Upon leaving we didn't even do a walk through. Most of my plants and detergents were left behind. When I called to complain no remedy was made. The worse of it all was that my jewelry was stolen. My mother's remains were in two custom made pieces. The police were called and a detective was assigned to the case. This moving company hires anybody. One was not a U S Citizen and the other was in jail for drug pos. My mother's remains have yet to be found. Yes, they got away with it. Thank God for Allstate. I am able to have the items remade. However, they got away with it. Beware of this company. MM M
