Tct, options talent almost another victim of the scam

I, too was almost a victim of this scam of TCT or whatever they are going to call themselves this week. I was scouted TWICE in 2 totally different places in the same week. So I thought, wow, I must have something. Well I went to their cattle call and watched the movie with all these stars like N'sync while they made it seem like THEY were the reason these talent were big.

I noticed that none of them gave the credit to this company though. They mentioned that big fat president guy, I can't remember his name. Then I got called into this room where they made it seem like this was "IT" they measured me, asked me about the flaws of my skin that I had NEVER noticed in my life. Then in another breath told me to come back for another interview.

I drove 45 miles for this guy to tell me I'm silly for not jumping on this NOW. He said he wanted me to try out for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders and made it seem like TCT was the only way I would get there. Later I found out, ANYBODY could have done it.

Anyway I wasn't taking it. I was trying to tell him that I didn't have the money right now but if he could wait then I might be able to work something out. Again he pushed and pushed for NOW. Finally I got a little irritated at this guy who was making me feel like an idiot and I didn't appreciate it so I said to him, "If I'm so GREAT then why are you pushing me about the money?" HE COULDN'T EVEN ANSWER MY QUESTION. He totally changed the subject. Then he said if I didn't sign up right then I couldn't attend another cattle call for a YEAR. I said, "Oh well, my loss then" and left that damned building angry that I spent the gas money, but soooooooo happy that I saw right through their scam.

I'm so glad I came across this site to see that I'm not the only one and also it's great that SOMEBODY or BODIES I should say are taking a stand against these people that are trying to exploit our generation of youth that look up to these young actors and models etc. And to the editor you are right, even legitamate companies can "chew you up and spit you out" (i believe thats how you put it.) It's a cruel industry just like ANY other industry even the good guys play dirty sometimes. It seems like you have to just to make it.

Well more power to everyone who is taking a part in this because it's we who are going to CRUSH these businesses. They won't get away with it for much longer, that is if they aren't already out of business as we speak. I mean this did happen to me last year.
