N.M.E. National Magazine Exchange ripoff Initial lack of clarity, misleading

I read reports regarding NME before I called so I already had a heads up on the situation. The "salesperson" inquired as to whether or not I owned a credit card (as credit card holders are the only ones eligible for entry) but I was worried about his intentions and backed out of the conversation even after he told me that there was a $1,000, 000 winner just two weeks ago. I'm glad I looked this information up before I was taken advantage of. Overall, being knowledgeable about this situation prevented me from being drawn into a possibly unfortunate situation.
