Ripoff! Someone used my name and sold things on e-bay

I started with this company about 3 weeks ago and I was told that I would be sending out packages for them because it was cheaper for their suppliers. I would also be receiving money orders and cashiers checks that I would cash take 5% as my pay, use some for shipping and the WU the rest to wherever I was told. I asked repeatdly for an address that I could check on and all I got was a fax number and a phone number that was always busy.

When I got my first set of packages and my first cahiers check, I got a phone call about 2 days later from a gentlemen asking me about a keyboard that I supposedly sold to him on ebay. I have an account with ebay that I made on my own to buy things with but I have not used it in 3 years and I never sold anything on ebay.

The information that he gave me from the ebay account was my name but not my correct info. He stated that someone had been corresponding with him using my name and I have never talked to this person before that day either on the phone or e-mail. So I was trying to figure out what was going on.

I e-mailed Peter about this and I never received a clear answer until the gentlemen contacted me. He said that a George, someone that Peter works with, had contacted him, and then Peter contacted him to tell him that his keyboard was on the way but never gave the man a tracking number. The man called me and I contacted Peter, via e-mail because that is the only way I could. Peter e-mailed me a web site to Airpostman with a tracking number. I did not check this out. I just e-mailed it to the man and he checked it out and it was a bogas site too.

So needless to say I deposited this man's money into my bank. Because of the amount they put a hold on it. Thank God for that because if they didn't I probably would have sent it to wherever Peter had told me and he would have been out his money and I would have probably been held responsible for it and I have no money to pay back people. This gentlemen had reasearched Peter and he e-mailed me this site and I am very grateful to him. I am not the kind of person to take people's money, it is too hard to earn.

I received three more money orders and I did what Peter told me to with them. Now I am going to try and contact that person and hopefully figure out something to help them. If anyone knows anything I can do please let me know.
