Printing Flaws

After receiving the author copy I noticed a white horizontal line on top of each even page. Since each page is fully colored, the white horizontal line on top of each even page becomes an annoyance. I knew it was not a problem of layout because the galley did not have any white lines on even pages. I notified my representative and specified that it is a printing flaws. I provided several scanned pages showing examples of the white horizontal lines.

Two weeks later my rep e-mail to me stating that there were nothing wrong with the layout. Hello? I've already told the rep it was not a layout problem but a printing flaw, yet she spent two weeks just to find out exactly what I told her the first place... Not a layout problem. Then she asked me for another set of photos so she can show to the printing department. Hello? I sent a set via e-mail earlier, doesn't she keep a copy of my previous mail? After I made complaints to my rep and told her that she was preventing me and my partner from ordering the books, then she finally sent me another author copy. The whole ordeal took a month to resolve.
