Allure Agency, LLC Refusal to pay for services rendered

After having problems previously with Allure Agency, and Ms. Patricia McClendon, where she owed me (which she doesn't remember) for a website job payment. I reluctantly took a job as a photographer for 4 models scheduled for 1pm-4pm. After waiting around for 45 minutes only 1 model arrived. We took the photos and left around 3:45.

I sent Ms. McClendon photo proofs, then requested half payment. She told me she sent the check "in the mail", so I mailed a disc with the photos on it. After a couple days she told me she had received the disc, I had not received a check in the mail.

I requested that she cancel the check and send me payment via PayPal. She then told me she was coming to Florida at which time I attempted to meet with her for payment to which she never responded, or blew me off. I then asked again for payment via PayPal and she said she had left her PayPal login information in Texas.

After threatening to get a lawyer she then told me she would pay me that night via PayPal, strange that she suddenly remembered her PayPal information... Needless to say no payment was received.

Ms. McClendon seemed unhappy about the quality of the photos, so I only asked half payment for the job and apologized for her not liking them. Which I think is just a lie to try and avoid any payment. Several professionals have seen them and said there were no problems with the photos.

I am currently filing in small claims court for the amount owed and attorney fees.

Avoid this unprofessional company at all costs!
