Jo-Ann's claims that their seamstresses & fabric "experts" are "certified." They have no certification whatsoever and you would be lucky to get one that has knowledge of fabrics. Asked about these 3 fabrics at 6 different stores, and NO ONE knew what the basic fabrics were: cotton chambray (fabric of the year in 2010), silk Georgette, cotton twill (a basic in any home.) Not one clerk understood the meaning of "salvage" of a fabric — they all report that salvage is the fabric you pay for because they cut it crooked, that is unusable, not what is leftover from the pattern.

Likewise with the knitting... They didn't know the basics of gauges.

Advertising - Fabrics are not discounted as they claim, and are in fact a regular retail price only during sales. Coupons by email or mail cease if you don't make a purchase every single time there is a sale.

They do NOT honor coupons from other stores as they claim. What is on sale online differs greatly from what is on sale in the store.
