Fraudulent PPV Charges to Account Internet

Here's the thing: I canceled my DISH Network services at the end of April. I was mailed the boxes, I returned the equipment and remotes, everything was fine.

I was signed up for paperless billing and Autopay. So, in early June, I decided to log into my DISH Network account at dishnetwork.com so I could take a look at my statements and make sure everything checked out. To my surprise, I saw an impending bill of $13.99 for a PPV and next to it the date of August 19.

I immediately emailed Dish Network using their Support - gt; Contact Us section of the web site. I informed them that the charge was erroneous. I told them that not only did I not order the PPV movie in question, but it would be impossible for me to because: a) I don't even have service with them anymore, and had returned my equipment over a month ago and b) August 19th has not even occurred yet.

A week went by with no answer. I wrote them a second time, explaining the situation more explicitly and informing them that they did not reply to my first query. I also told them to remove my information from Autopay so that the $13.99 charge would not be billed to me, because as of now, the charge was part of an upcoming bill that had not been charged yet.

A week later, today, my credit card was charged $13.99 with Autopay. I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card company, emailed Dish again using their Contact Us page and sent an email to feedback@dishnetwork.com, this time more heated.

We'll see how this turns out, but so far they've erroneously charged me for a movie that is impossible for me to order as I don't even have a receiver. Also, the charge is two months in the future. They've also completely ignored two emails I've sent to them, as well as my request to be taken out of their Autopay system.

In short, Dish Network is ripping me off.
