Don't waste your time!

I wish I would have checked my favorite site - complaint - before starting the very long and intentionally arduous process of completing an application on Alpine Access' website. There are tutorials, tests, Alpine employee testimonials, simulated customer service calls and an essay to answer. After spending a total of eight hours or more on the Alpine Access recruiting website, my final result was: No jobs available. I think the job postings on various internet websites are probably to drum up media attention or business for Alpine Access, because it certainly is NOT geared toward the typical applicant who doesn't have 8 - 10 hours to spend for tutorials, extensive testing and simulators to get a job. I guess it is a "plus" for me that they did not "accept" me (or, as was indicated, they did not have a job for me) because I too would have been disappointed to have paid $50 for a credit report, and then waste the first 6 or 7 hours of work (at eight dollars an hour) recooping that cost! Please don't waste your time with this company (unless you know someone on the inside that can help you get the job!). The testimonial videos from current employees now seem so feigned and phoney. They all had very nice offices, and now I am reading that Alpine pays as little as $8 per hour?! ReallY? I think it would be less cruel if Alpine simply asked the applicant to take the psychological tests first and then give the results (i.E., "No Jobs Available") instead of forcing people to go through the hoops that they have constructed for their recruiting process. Now I'm on usacomplaints.com giving Alpine an unfavorable review, so how much did Alpine gain by making me spend 8 - 10 hours to complete the recruiting process? Zero. I would never recommend them and in fact would not work for the company if they asked me (after reading the reviews of past employees on usacomplaints.com's website). I guess the moral is: always do your research before getting caught in a snare!
