Spoiled Dairy Products/Bad Customer Service

I purchased a small carton of Tuscan Half & Half on Thursday June 9th. The expiration date on the half/half was July 9th. I opened the Half/Half on Sunday morning June 12th, poured some in my coffee to find the box was spoiled. I along with my daughter returned to Peublo's Deli to tell them & show that the Half/Half I purchased was spoiled, and asked that my money be refunded. The young man working the cashier, didn't want to give me back my money. I had to tell him because I couldn't wait while he waiting on people walking in the store, as I was there first. Pueblo Deli's cashier got very nasty with me, then threw my money on the counter & and asked now do you feel better. No one should be disrespected like that. They should make sure there refrigeration until are cold enough to keep dairy products & juice cold and fresh. However no one in that store should treat customers badly for returning spoiled purchases.
