Being told to leave early

I work for store 0636 and we are being told constantly to leave earlier then our scheduled hours. For example, on some days while closing at 10pm we are scheduled till 1030pm and we will get told that we have to leave at 10pm even though we are scheduled to leave at 130pm. This is against California law to tell employees they have to leave earlier then scheduled. Its not against the law to ask but we have never been asked.
