Tried to rip me off

Hungry Student Movers cited me $1600 to maneuver my one-bedroom condo from Chicago to California. They packed all my products, after which the driver stated the strain was bigger than anticipated and might actually price $5000 to maneuver. After I declined that greater statement and required my property back, they declined to return my home. They secured the semi-trailer and stated I Would need to spend them to merely get my material back, not to mention transfer it towards the new area. I'd to contact the Chicago Police Department, who pushed them to sell my products. They did not actually transfer some of it back again to my apartment - they merely quit anything only within the doorway of the apartment building and that I needed to contact some buddies to assist transfer everything back-up to my condo.

The CPD stated it was a typical ocurrance and just about everybody merely buckles and gives the jacked-up charge. Do your study and employ a reliable moving organization, of course if issues do get unpleasant, do not give in. Don't allow these criminals intimidate you.
