Buck Dollar Stores/Buck Dollar Develpers
Waisted my time and money flying to florida from the west coast

Because Buck Dollar Store seemed to have the best BBB rating of the developers that I was looking at, I decided to spend about $1400 for round trip air fare. When I got to their head quarters I was shocked. It looked very poor and the staff seemed very friendly but they were completely shocked that I just dropped in without calling 1st. I never gave them my full name because I felt that I made a great mistake coming to them and I was right. They seemed to have some good knowledge about merchandise and no true knowledge about finding a store for me and very confused about how they would build my store. I got different answers about how they will help me than what they told me over the phone. They seemed mostly being my wholesaler and not being a developer. I got out of there fast. They looked like a company that was much different in a bad way then what I saw on their web page. I called many references they listed on their web site but after calling about 10 I stopped looking at their references. Most were out of business or the phone number listed in www.yellowpages.com was incorrect. They offered me more references over the phone but why waist my time. I may keep looking for a dollar store developer that is very good at what they do but for now I am thinking about giving up.
$1,400 dollars down the drain and 2 days of time I spent for nothing. I know there must be some out there that can help me but I am also convinced I can not do this on my own. I look at Dollar Tree Dollar stores and seem to very good but after calling Dollar Tree I found out they do not franchise or do not have any interest in developing private dollar stores. If any one can tell what company out there building dollar stores are more professional, please let me know.
