Cupid.com
Fraudulent practices and unauthorized withdrawals from my account, United Kingdom

Shops, Products, Services

I signed up for a trial period (5 days) and they "enrolled" me for a month before the trial period was up. And then, they duplicated my payments a few days later, even after I told them I wanted to unsubscribe!

I even wrote to the company in New York and told them the problems and to discontinue my "enrollment", but instead, they continue the unauthorized withdrawal of from my bank account every two weeks for a total of 4 more withdrawals ($34.99 x 5 $16.41 [supposedly trial periods] for an overall total of almost $200)!!!

Also, this service is not very truthful and many of the people are not really people, but the site managers sending these supposed date prospects, many are made up. The people don't even live where their profiles say they live and other aspects of their so-called "profiles" aren't even close to the person when contacted. Examples of these untruths include: age not close, the city where it says their from, ethnicity, height & weight, and there are many who are probably individuals or groups who in the end try to get money from you!
