DSS took check for subscription and never sent any magazines

On Jan. 4, I purchase a magazine subscription from Dss, Inc. This was a door-to-door solication.

I agreed to subscribe to Rolling Stone magazine and paid with personal check #117, in the amount of $45 dollars.

I have not received any magazines to date, nor have I been able to contact anyone from the company, repeated e-mails from me have never been answered.

I am retired and live on a fixed income, the subscription was to be a gift for my grandson who is serving in the military.

What this company is doing is stealing, they have no intention of fufilling their obligation to send subscribers magazines, I am learning that this scam is being repeated all over the country.

If I contracted to deliver something to someone and took their money, but failed to deliver the service I would certainly be held accountable. This company should be held accountable. I want my money or my subscription.
