They offer free gift from a friend, then steal your email address book

Shops, Products, Services

A contact from homerun.com stating a buddy had delivered me "a Chocolate Truffles (sic) from Schakolad Chocolate Factory, " having a switch to press to receive the present. Then it requested for my current email address and code. I thought it'd result in a redeemable discount... Alternatively it had been a difficult screen inviting me to deliver an identical present to my own personal friends. Something similar to FaceBookis make an effort to get all-one's mail connections. After I attempted to back away AND NEVER choose any handles, it grabbed all of them anyhow, and delivered exactly the same phony present present and junk information to everybody in my own current email address book. Obviously, no free truffles — but what exactly is poor may be the junk to all my harmless buddies who might foolishly perpetuate the fraud. Homerun.com modifications items and retailers frequently, I am aware; formerly it had been an unknown make of caffeine.
