Uncle Bob's Self Storage
"Free" Truck Rental

My roommate and I rented a storage unit with Uncle Bob's Self Storage in Tampa Florida, August. When I made the reservations for the unit, I also reserved their "free" moving van. Although the moving van was far from free, that is not my issue.

I reserved the truck for Monday, August 29 from 9:00 a. M, to 4:00 P.M. I clearly explained that neither Sunday day would work (no driver) and Monday night 5:00 P.M. To 9:00 A.M. Tuesday morning would not work (no driver and roomie has to be at work by 7:00 A.M. Tuesday morning). I was assured we had the truck during the day Monday.

Uncle Bob's called my roommate to confirm everything a week later, was given our reservation number, and we were informed no truck was available except for the totally useless times I had explained wouldn't work. We ended up using two SUVs to move, and will have to make extra trips.
