Z-Eyez ripoff, allergic reaction, non responsive

Shops, Products, Services

I purchased their anti fog wax from a vendor at the International Motorcycle Show in Dallas on 11/22/03. After visiting the site, I noticed the guy charged me quite a bit more than the current selling price. I paid $25 for 2 jars of anti-fog wax (he even said the 2nd was free). I didn't write to them because of the price but thought it was shady and worth mentioning.

This reason I contacted them is to let them know that I had a reaction to the anti-fog wax. I put it on my glasses as instructed by the vendor. Almost immediately my eyes began to itch, swell and water. My throat started swelling and itching as well. I washed the anti fog wax off of my glasses with soap and water and it seemed to help relieve my allerigic reaction. It took several hours for my eyes to feel somewhat normal again.

I requested a return of the $25 I paid for the products. I contacted them on 11/26/02 via email. I left at least 3 voice mail messages. I faxed them a copy of my email in December. I left another voice mail at the beginning of January. Obviously, this business is a "side business" because you can't ever get anyone on the phone. I'm putting this post up on usacomplaints.com in hopes that you don't have the same problems I have had. It's simply become a matter of principle at this point.
