Ripoff, dishonest scamers dumb customer service personnel

Last April I signed on as a new user with the promise of a new phone. They offered a cheap Nokia that I was not interested in using stating I had a startac with previous cell provider which I enjoyed using and wanted something similiar.

The sales person stated to me that after I received and used this Nokia "their most popular model", which everyone loved and did not like it better I could switch for no extra fees to any make or model offered in print at printed offer&within 30 days.

So within the 30 day grace period I was never satisfied with the phone and happened to run across just the phone I had requested advertized in the local paper and was on the phone requesting the free exchange as promised as per our agreement. What? I have not been a customer long enough for exchange? Yeah, that is the story I am being stuffed with now—every couple months I am still trying to exchange but&no one ever offered me that agreement I was told by AT&T and the AT&T sales person who I had responded to by calling the AT&T number which was in the AT%T envelope mailed to me from AT&T is actually not in any way a part of AT&T.

This makes a person wonder if I do not have a contract with AT&T and it is not AT&T who I pay monthly or maybe it is not even AT&T I have been talking to? Anyway today the first rep. I talked with (45 min.including hold) first accused me of not making request within the 30 day period as the reason for mixup, but he recanted when I informed him otherwise and suggested he look at my records and then offered a best he could do was send me a phone for $80.00 and sign a two year agreement.

This is when I decided to email my complaint but see I never made it that far because on their web opening page was the phone he offered me for free! So I played easy to get along with again and was disconnected after 30 minute plus talk and hold routinewell I am stupid but I tried again only to be asked to hang up and look at a different phone online with a promise the lady would return this call so I would not be delayed again as per her suggestion.

OK I will look but told her as I have everyone else that I am only interested in a small flip phone so I do not have to lock the keys every time I put the phone in my front pocket or elsewhere to keep from accidently dialing someone. She says this open key phone never dials by accident and you don't ever have to lock the keys. So I agreed to look unwillingly —I needed the break& and she is calling me back in 20.

Well 45 minutes later and no return call as promised I called them and imediately asked to speak with a supervisor and to my suprise was told OK, only that I would be put on hold for up to 30 minutes. (this person also said she saw where it had been noted I was suppose to have received that return call but had not. I then stated they never lived up to their terms of the orginal contract and would they please discontinue my service with whomever is sending me AT&T wireless statements&over 3 hrs. On phone
