After searching the Internet for a shop to repair a broken Nikon camera, I found 77sell.com, an online shop selling out of China that purports to sell everything from baking supplies to camera gear. The price for the LCD screen I needed was low, but I figured, coming direct from China, it was probably valid.

The clever scammers at 77sell.com were very good at communication before the sale and even sent me a supposed tracking number for my package. However, when I tried to actually track the package using that number, I found it was invalid. I tried several times over several days - no good.

Then I tried emailing - no response.

Then I went back to their website - Down, no response.

I have now filed a claim with Paypal to try and recover my payment, but all should be aware that 77sell.com is a scam outfit.

I noticed today their site is back up - trolling for my trusting consumers.
