Refused to provide refund

Received my current credit card statement (dated Jan 15) and I found a $75.00 chargeposted on Dec 27. Not sure of what this is for, I went on line to their WEB site and realized it is an auction site. I called the number (800) 879-9283 provided on my statement and was told it would be a 4 minute wait, I disconnected the call after 1 hour 2 minutes.

I called the number later and was able to speak to a representive. I was not able to receive a refund since the fine print indicated the cost is non refundable. I feel this is a very deceptive procedure. The bid value will increase in 1 cent increments. When the auction clock gets to about 5-10 seconds to the end another cent is bid causing the timer to reset.

When my wife signed up for the program she did not understand all the details but we have to pay for her error. I hope this canhelp others from getting "stuck"in the same mannor.
