McBride is insane. He had a phone number that rings for up to 30 minutes with no answer or voice mail. I sent him a manuscript and it came back with the format, syntex and even grammer all messed up. The notes were, not kidding, in some other language. My sense is he farms his stuff overseas and cherry picks assignemnts for himself. Lucky I had the original draft or I would have lost three years of work.
