Ripoff OVERLY AGGRESSIVE SALES PERSON What is being offered is NOT worth the money

Hello Readers,

I am still in shock at what happened to me. I went to Great Expectations to expand my dating options. I went with an open mind and heart, and felt INTITIALLY comfortable with the rep. At the end, she told me the cost and it was between $4,000 and $5,000 plus $25.00 monthly fee to access to the online data base and about $100-$1,000 to renew annually. I was VERY SUPRISED considering what was being offered was very similar to online services that charge about $100 a year.

I felt something was wrong, yet I could not identify it—just a feeling. She started negotiating the price down telling to that she was doing me a favor because I was pretty and the service would be great for me.

I started to feel uneasy because she became pushy and when I said I wanted to think about it, her personality changed and she became somewhat hostile and stating that she could not understand how a business professional such as myself could pass on this deal.

She started saying how that I would not have been there if something wasn't wrong. The TRUTH was that I just came off a wonderful date from someone that I met online and simply wanted to look at other venues because I wanted to see where else I could meet some other interesting people. She said a lot of other things, playing on my emotions to buy. She had an irate tone; I was in shock and left feeling as if I had been attacked.

Her shift in personality STUNNED me, and then I started to notice the lack of quality of the environment and product (I am sparing the details because I do not wish to give these con artists insight and how to be deceptive with their image).

I recommend for people to try out online service, many are low cost (e.G.$9.95 month, $100 a year, some are free, many allow posting a profile without joining). Great Expectations is not offering anything majorly different; in fact, people are not verified as stated. I was "approved" on the spot without investigating criminal record, health status, income, etc. The goal was to get my money. Thankfully I had the courage to say no. I am telling, if would have NOT been easy for a typical person. I have a background in sales and have training in studying social behavior. Even with this, I felt traumatized.

I am reiterating to whomever reads this. Do not waste your time with great expectations dating agency. What is being offered is NOT worth the money. The internet offers access to the global world (not the indefinite number of individuals who are swindled to spend thousands of dollars) and people's credentials can also be verified through the web.
