Northstar Alarm will scam you!

I had a contract with Northstar for 36 months and when I called about 9 months before the contract ended to pay off the balance of the contract. To my surprise, they said I actually had 14 months remaining on my contract!!! They said I would have to pay off 5 more months than I actually had left on my contract in order to cancel the agreement because their system had only recognized 22 of my monthly payments instead of the 27 that I had in fact made. After a few threats to contact the BBB and other groups, they finally changed their mind and 'found' their error. DO NOT let this company bully you around in any way and warn your neighbors about this shady company. Jason Christensen, the owner is a horrible, no good crook and I have had a few people in my neighborhood who also got scammed by them. Stop northstar!!
