Kathy Lynch D & K Property fakes property management and steals money from landord

Like many other people, I am an investor from CA who is upside down in the real estate. I own 5 buildings in Houston Texas. I'm working so hard just to pay my mortgages and to barely keep a float.

I hired Kathy Lynch as a property manager for three buildings. She claim to be property managers with a fancy website. Kathy attempts to take care of the properties for month and then request money to make ready the units. Kathy just does enough to get the housing payments sent to her. I hired her in March and she gave me some minimal payments April. Kathy asked for $4000 dollars for maintenance cost. The buildings were never fixed and she never gave me any payments after that.in total, I was out close to $13,000 dollars. I haven't calculated all the other cost. Kathy basically took all the money for the make ready cost, housing rent money, deposits, and rental money and runs off. I last heard from her on June 17th and that was a CC copy e-mail to the Houston Housing Authority.

Kathy also was a property manager for my father during the same time frame and she scammed my father out of approximately $7000.

I then was contacted by Kevin Devoe who sent me a bill of the make ready cost for units that were not even fixed. Another scam.

Kathy gave me several sob stories about her daughter being sick, later getting into an accident and then later dying. She delayed the process and gave me excuses so she could keep collecting rental money. Kathy told the Houston Housing that her husband had terminal cancer. She also claimed that she was assaulted by a tenant at one of my units and I found that she lied because there was no police report filed like she claimed she did.

Kathy Lynch is a scam artist and you should not hire her. Please contact me if you are also a victim.
