Shops, Products, Services

I seen a flyer in my local shelter when I was passing our flyers that I had made the day afeter my pet came up missing, I took the number and website down and after a week of no word of my missing cat, I went to the website. This service sounded like a dream come true... Suely with their help I could find my cat... I would pay anything if I could get her back. I paid around $100 and I paid $19.95 for some frontpage add after placing the order I never received a confirmation or anything stating they received my order. After a few hours I started contacting them by phone and their help e-mail. I did receive an e-mail back stating I put the wrong e-mail... in my frazzled emotipnal state I had accidently combined two e-mails into one... They said they would fix it and resend the confirmation... I never received it, so I e-mailed and called again-no response.
I checked the PetAmberAlert.com website the next day and my poster was made, so I assumed the phone calls and posters and business alerts had went out. I checked back with my local shelters and talked with a few neighbors a few days later and no one had received any sort of contact from PetAmberAlert.com... I have called repeatedly and only get the voicemail message saying please leave a message and we will return your call... I finally was able to do the on-line chat help once and they stated the alerts were never issued because of my e-mail mistake, but that they would reissue the alerts free of charge and they would send me a confirmation of the contacts... They never did... It was slowly sinking in that I have been scammed.
I have left several strongly worded e-mails and voicemails. I finally got a response back stating that it was my fault because I gave the wrong e-mail... And then another e-mail after I gave them a piece of my mind stating I have been issued a refund and my account deleted... But they would put my alert to the front of the line if I wanted to reissue it... And I am more crushed and hurt than anything that I have been wasting time with these sick people when I could have used my energy, time, and money towards other efforts to find my cat.
I cant believe this is allowed... They even have news channel spots promoting what a great company they are, and all sorts of success stories... I feel so stupid... I told them I will make it my mission to shut them down... I am going to start calling the phone numbers on the posters and telling other customers to contact their local shelters and neighbors and check and see what efforts have been made towards finding their pet and once they realize they too have been ripped off... My hope is that they get shut down really soon. I have never been so angry in my life... But again its not so much that I was ripped off... Its that they have taken advantage of vulneralbe people seeking help to find a lost loved family pet... Talk about kicking people when their down... I wish there was a legitimate company that actually did all the things this scam promised to do... I;m just sick and beside myself... I dont know why I am still amazed that there are people who are willing to sink so low as to profit from others pain and suffering.
