Svc ripoff / took money from my account without permission

I am very angry that it is possible for someone to take money out of my account without permission. I will probably have checks bounce because of this.
With all the safegaurds that are out there now to stop problems like this how can this happen?
79.95 is alot of money to be giving away for nothing
