Worldcom wireless no service as promised

My service with this company is a joke. First of all we never called and requested wireless service. My husband was solicited over the phone and was impressed with the services offfered. We were assured that the phone would work in the area in which we live and that we would have home area coverage.

When we recieved the phone and tried to use it of course it did not work. It was always searching for service. I Called customer service several times, and each time was assured that the problems would be corrected. This has yet to happen.

At this point I am at a loss as to what - steps to take next. I have had no luck with the customer service department at 1-800-254-8991.

I would certainly not reccomend that anyone do business with these people not only do you have to wait on the phone for long periods of time to speak with one of the customer service representives they are often times rude.
