This report is a warning to anyone who is considering going with Reunions Unlimited, Inc. Aka weplanreunions.com.
It is a total rip off. All they did was book a room at Dave N Busters, and give a list of addresses from (some) classmates that they called a "memory book".
They charged $91 PER PERSON (even guests) to eat some noodles and rubbery chicken. I wished I had eaten outside of the room, to have a decent meal for $15. There was no desert served and a cash bar with overly priced drinks. They didn't even give a $5 game card to play some games.
With about 60 people showing up, after booking the room and food they made close to $6000. After the room, food, and $2 cost to print their "memory book" - the company brought in well over $5000. One of the main topic of conversations was what a rip off it was was.
I think a lot of people thought that a couple of people in the class had ripped everyone off, but later I found out they just had this company organize it. Anyone with half a brain could have put this together, and passed the savings along to everyone else (or it could be an easy way to make $5000 for a few hours of work).
I am just astonished that for the $100 a person, they couldn't spare one drink one game card, or even a piece of cake to go along with the cheap dinner they provided.
Do yourself and your class a favor, don't go with this company.
