Direct Long Distance
Ripoff, fraudulent, unauthorized billing on my credit card

On November 1 I was going over my credit card statement and noticed D. Long Distance 650-426-# CA with a charge of $73.77 on September 5. I had no idea what it was so I called Chase my credit card holder. I had been away on vacation and hadn't checked the statement.

Chase Bank said that I made a long distance call and that D. Long distance was the server. I said that I don't use long distance because I have nationwide calling on my cell phone. Besides, who could I have called for $73.77. Chase said I could dispute the charges and they would send me the forms.in the meantime they are crediting my account.

Later that same night I came home and had another statement from my credit card company. This statement showed that this same company charged another $73.77 21 days later on September 26. I imeddiatly called Chase again and told them that this time they had a different phone number 800-273-# CA. Chase again credited my account. They checked to see if any further or previous charges from that company had been made. They said no.

Not knowing who this company was I checked thier name on the web and came up with this site. Boy was I surprized. I called my bank again that same night and had them close my credit card after seeing that they continue to change thier name and charge away the next mont under a new name.

I read one report that stated that a Anthony Brown was in charge and a phone number of 1-909-825-#. I called the 800 number and got nowhere. I called 650-426-# and pused the number for directory. I then pushed in Brown as my contact. I was directed to his voice mail. I left a plesant message that I wanted him to call me in regards to my account, only leaving my name and phone number.

The very next day I recieved a message on my machine from this company saying that my cancellation of my account was being processed and as a courtisy to me they were crediting my account $73.77. Isn't this strange that I never said anything about cancelling or anything else except I wanted to talk. They did give me a confirmation number so we will see what happens next. I'll keep this site informed.
