We bought a unit the the Optima couple of years ago. The buidling is right of the highway 94, all glass, presents itself very nice. First impression is nice too when you first pull up to the property... Water fountains and over all decent design. We chose it because it was close to the highway all the shopping and work reasons.

First year was decent and then hell slowly creeped in. We were supposed to receive a credit on the deal, they delayed and it never came in. Then there were cracks clearly in the structure of the bulding inside that continued into our unit. It took them 3 months to take a look at it and they said its not their problem at the end. The poperty management bacame simply rude and unconcerned just about anything. Its gotten worse overtime. I thought maybe they simply didnt like us in particular but we found out, the attitude is common.
There are so many troubling stories but to summarize its gotten to the point that we cant wait to sell the place and get the h*ll out. They let the place to be managed by a bunch of unproffesional rude people and are influenced by some board members to constantly change rules in the property to make life more and more unpleasant.

Here are some common practices by their standards "today".

-When you have quests coming to visit, you better call right away or if someone parks anywhere without flashing lights, they get towed within sometimes 15 minutes.
- They enter peoples units WITHOUT any permission and try to write up fines for anything they can find
- Police/Fire are present at the building for calls on about every other day basis
- Theft to vehicles and condo units is common. They dont really want to spend money on security and other simple steps. They instead tighten up the rules for everyone.
- The attitude even in the sales office has lately become simply ignorant and rude.

Final thought, these are just few examples out of many. They are little miserable becasue the third phase of the development is not selling at all. The misery shows in their attitudes and its a spiral down effect. Too bad it used to be a decent place to live. If you considering buying/renting. Talk to inside people that live there first and find honest opinions. The sales office will tell you all kinds of bs.
