I used Phoenix because it was cheap and I wasn't transporting anything valuable.
My experience was fine until the movers failed to show up on the designated moving day... After I had confirmed. When I called to see what had happened, I was told that I hadn't confirmed (then who exactly had I talked to???). One story that I got was that the truck hadn't passed inspection and was help up overnight...
Eventually, I was told that I would be discounted the fee that my apartment manager was charging since I wasn't out on time. That would have been ok, except that the movers that showed up were not informed and were not going to give me the discount. The movers that finally delivered my belongings arrived 4 days after the expected delievery date.
I watched them throw my boxes off the truck (many of which had holes in them). I move a lot and know how to pack...
