A small group of friends from work decided to order flowers to celebrate our friend's engagement. We went online to look at Kathy Wilhelmy Flowers to see what arrangement we would like to order. We saw a darling arrangement of white daisies and pink sweetheart roses, housed in a pink square vase, which was wrapped in a thick magenta ribbon with white polka dots. We upgraded the arrangement to include more flowers and the bill came to $57.00.

Later that afternoon, they delivered a bouquet addressed to "Cathy", should have been "Cassie". The daisies were all dead, the vase was clear, and it was wrapped in a thin pink ribbon that was held by a piece of scotch tape. Needless to say, I was not happy. When I called Kathy Wilhemy, she informed me that the ribbon that I saw on her websitehad been discontinued and they didn't carry pink vases. There was no excuse or apology for the dead daisies. Had I been told that they couldn't make the arrangement that was on the home page of their website, I obviously would not have placed the order. Kathy Wilhelmy's reply was simply, "if I carried all of the vases that Teleflora offers, I wouldn't be in business". Not my problem as a consumer. Take it off your website if you can't make it.

Needless to say, I requested they come pick up the arrangement and give me a refund. I was told they would do that and a receipt would be sent to my home. I later received a voice message informing me that a receipt was being sent, but the delivery charge wouldn't be refunded since they had to come to drop off and then pick back up (we are less than 2 miles away). The owner, Kathy Wilhelmy, felt the need to end her message by telling me that just because I spend money with a company, does not give me a right to "talk to them any way I want".

Clearly, Kathy Wilhelmy Flowers does not know how to do good business. Epic fail #1... Misleading me by accepting me order for an arrangement that she was not able to create. Epic fail #2... Not apologizing for any miscommunication. Epic fail #3... Not offering to make it right. Epic fail #4... Not refunding my money in full. Epic fail #5... Telling me that I don't have a right to express my disappointment.

I strongly urge consumers to NOT use Kathy Wilhelmy Flowers if you want a good product and good service.
