Bernie petrescue Solicited investtment funds for the new company, secured the funds and then changed names of company

Petrescue contacted me to purchase stock in his new company which would specialize in online, streaming video advertising. He had mentioned he had large investors looking at this company, Al Gore for one. I was foolish enough to purchase shares of the stock. Within months of purchasing the stock, Petrescue changed names and insisted my stock was worthless. I cant believe after all these years he is not in jail. I did try to contact Mr. Petrescue to recover my funds and no response.
