Hair Club For Men
HCM Ripoff, Sold me a toupee as a head of hair matrix

Shops, Products, Services

I recently purchased from Hair Club for Men a new "Head of Hair". This hair was supposed to be a high tech matrix which would be invisible to sight and would look and feel like my own natural hair. The pictures that they showed during my initial consultation showed men with full heads of hair, and no noticable hairline.

I purchased this head of hair using a "CareCredit" account, (also a ripoff), and later had the hair applied. At the application, the hair seemed fine. About 3 days after the application, the system came loose and I had to apply adhesive to hold it in place 2-3 times a day. People at work began to notice and speak to me about the highly visible matrix of interwoven fabric that was glued to my head. About a week later the entire system came off in the shower and that's when I realized that the "system" was nothing more than a super thin toupee.
They advised me that I could come in for an "adjustment" for which they charged $75 per hour.

I threw the damn toupee in the garbage, bought some XXXXX, and have had excellent results. I just had my entire head shampooed, styled and cut at a professional salon for $21 and tipped the stylist another $5.
What a ripoff. $3000 for a toupee that they superglue to your head.
