Company misrepresents its services, makes fraudelent claims, has NO access to career positions

I sought out this company's services while looking for employment in Florida. Over the course of several meetings, I was told that Haldane had access to jobs "you don't talk about around the water cooler'", the kind of jobs "that never get posted; they get filled before the position even officially becomes vacant." I'd never have to mess with a human resources representative; I was goinmg to talk to the "people who did the high-level hiring."

I was sure to point out serveral times that I wasn't is the area of sales and asked if they had the same access to the industry in which I worked. They replied that not only did they have access, but they had just placed a new client and would put me in touch right away. When I called the "client", she informed me that she'd gotten her job with no help at all from the firm and that she wasn't sure why they were giving out her number, as she wasn't happy with their services in the first place; though she'd independently found a job, they were still making her pay their fee because she'd signed the contract.

What followed was a journey through useless contact numbers and people in areas that had little to nothing to do with my industry. When I filed complaints (always in writing), I was told to keep up the work, good things take time and was then reissued the very same usless contact numbers, all in the name of networking. Haldane even had people calling me asking them if I new of any jobs in the area; I explained that if I did, I'd be applying for them myself. What kind of contact is an umemployed worker?

I did get a solidly written resume out of the whole experience, but that's something I could've accomplished with a book and a day at the library. The only upside to the whole experience - other than an education - is that when I finally decided to cease contact with Haldane, they never contacted me for the balance of their "fee." AVOID this company — their package and pitch is very appealing even to the intelligent eye, but they're nothing but a scam in the end.
