Consumer Impressions
Jacob Parc I received a letter with an enclosed check from this company. The check is bogus

I received a check for the amount of 3875.00 drawn on Citibank. The ABA# was 332511115. The check was for a supposed "Mystery Shopper" for Consumer Impressions, Inc. They wanted me to spend $40 at Walmart, Pay a fee of $120 dollars to send a transfer of $3515.00 using Western Union and keep $200 for myself as my "salary".

I looked up the ABA number and it does not exist. I have heard of many of these scams where the person cashes the check, follows the instructions, and then the check never clears, they are out the money. It was the wire transfer request that really made this obvious as a scam.
