Attempted to steal deposit money

We rented from A & L/Steven Lyon for over a year. They failed to respond to requests of broken down premises numerous times. They completely misrepresented the condition of the property from ability to heat properly and to maintaining livable tempatures during the summer.
The biggest rip off came when we moved out and requested our deposit back. Steve Lyon then attempted to keep app. $1100.00 of our $1500.00 deposit. He supplied us with an invoice of services rendered and work done. However, the "company" he used turned out not be a company at all, in fact, they were not licensed and didnt exist.in addition, he attempted to charge things that were broken on move in and noted on the pre-inspection report. Turns out, he did the exact same thing to the co-signer of the tenant before us. We reviewed her statement of services upon move out and there were charges for things that were never done and in fact were broken when we moved in.
We took him and A & L to small claims and he didnt even have the dignity to show up. We recieved a judgement in full in our favor and he didnt even appeal it. Now he wont pay and we are having to drag him into court again to examine his assets.
A & L Property Managment and Steven Lyon are completely unprofessional and dishonest. If you have been victim to this same bad faith, please respond back and we'll see if class action might apply.
