I was spammed by this agency, The Top Gun Executive Group, who promised 100% success in placing me in a high level job. They got my resume from a job board, obviously, and spammed me several times. I contacted them and found out their fees are $5000 up front as a retainer, and $7500 when/if a position is landed. Most reputable placement agencies get their fees from the employers. It's apparent that this company has no contact or clout with any major companies, and has no placement contracts in place. This is a scam in my opinion, and is also not very professional. I offered them a flat $15k upon placement since they have a claimed 100% success rate. The rude and obnoxious rep told me to "pack sand" in so many words. Throw these people in your spam folder where they belong.
